Every person around the world knows what day this is. 9/11. A day that will live infamy. Everyone's thoughts and prayers are centered around the events of 10 years ago. As they should be.
But today is also a day to celebrate life. To celebrate the freedoms afforded us by the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to prevent another 9/11.
Today happens to be our annual family reunion. It's always the first Sunday after Labor Day, and this year that happens to fall on 9/11. Which gives us the opportunity to enjoy those freedoms. To be together with family we don't get to see......to enjoy the bright sunshine, the food, the laughs, the joy of being together. And to thank God that we are the lucky ones.
