We stopped in at Tlaquepaque Village in Sedona. It was a really cool Arts Village. We meandered around, getting lost in a maze of little plazas. It was very pretty and there was some very interesting art galleries.
A little church inside the place?
Tag had a chat with Amelia Earhart.....not sure why they had a statue of her in Sedona, Arizona!
Lots of art galleries with some interesting sculptures. I think we need this for our backyard.
They even had some musicians at the Farmer's Market ..... just like in New England!
I made friends with this guy.
And of course, there was a used record store! I made the mistake of pointing it out to Hubby. He found an album he wanted and the proprietor was kind enough to ship it to him.
We listened to a guy play music on a Chapman Stick. He said he learned how to play from the original maker of the intrument, Emmett Chapman and still played one made by him.
The other place we wanted to go see in Sedona was the Chapel of the Holy Cross. It's an amazing tiny church built into the side of the mountain!
Including this house.....Hubby said he would buy it for me!
The inside was a regular Catholic church where they say Mass every day at 3pm!
