Losing grandparents is heartbreaking, but that's what you're there for...to soften the broken hearts. And from the teensy bit I know of you, you seem like a good one to do that!peeweehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16326685199371901024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791485487697482480.post-94695380036440972009-04-10T10:01:00.000-07:002009-04-10T10:01:00.000-07:00My sympathies. I think going to the wake and letting the "kids" do the funeral by themselves is a good call — unless they ask you to attend, of course.elizasmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14450026334750091569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791485487697482480.post-1339149837579192932009-04-10T06:34:00.000-07:002009-04-10T06:34:00.000-07:00Oh, I'm so sorry. He had three boys and a girl, all grown and each with spouses of their own. During the funeral, you would find the 4 'kids' right next to one another. The entire time. <BR/>It was such an awesome sight and one I will remember forever.Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14082650134087946167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3791485487697482480.post-63096580887618761652009-04-09T20:18:00.000-07:002009-04-09T20:18:00.000-07:00You should go. It has nothing to do with anyone else but you being able to say goodbye to someone who touched your life.
